New Green Day Album

Live Album Due Out From Blink-182

According to Blink-182 bassist-vocalist Mark Hoppus, the band is planning to release a live album in November. The album is expected to be compiled of performances from the band's current "Mark Tom and Travis Show" tour.

Offspring Plan New Album

The Offspring headed back to the studio on July 6th to record with producer Brendan O'Brien (known for his work with Pearl Jam and Rage Against the Machine). The band is hoping to release the album by November 14th.

Green Day To Tour With Beastie Boys and Others

Green Day has been named as one of the rotating opening acts for a late-summer tour with headliners The Beastie Boys and Rage Against the Machine. The tour is set to begin on August 2nd in Toronto and finish up on September 16th in California.

Warped Tour MP3's

The Warped Tour 2000 is selling an official MP3 only compilation through EMusic.com. The twenty-six tracks are selling for nine dollars. Alongside previously released tracks by Green Day, Supersuckers, and The Donnas, are exclusive tracks such as "Lower", a catchy mix of punk rock and harmony vocals from NOFX.
